It all started sometime at the end of 2019\u2026 and now? Rose & Dagger is celebrating its 5-year anniversary!<\/b><\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

I\u2019m not really the type for sentimental talk or motivational quotes \u2013 that\u2019s not my vibe. But I am genuinely grateful for the people who\u2019ve gathered around this studio, for how they\u2019ve helped it grow, and how fast we\u2019re moving forward.<\/p><\/div>

Now I can say with confidence that we\u2019re finally starting to build awareness of traditional \u2013 or if you prefer, old school \u2013 tattooing within our local scene and beyond.<\/p>

Whether it all began in Prievidza<\/b><\/span> or we\u2019re now based at Karpatsk\u00e1 in Bratislava<\/b><\/span>, one thing still holds true: Small town, Big hearts!<\/b><\/p><\/div>

And what better way to celebrate than with another Flash Day?<\/b><\/h2>

I think we were among the first \u2013 if not the<\/i> first \u2013 to revive this concept (super popular in Europe and the US) right here in Slovakia. So here\u2019s a quick recap of how it all went down.<\/p><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

So how did it go?<\/b><\/h2>

I might\u2019ve been more nervous before the event than usual\u2026 though honestly, who knows? Even a random phone call from the city office can throw me off. \ud83d\ude04But yeah – my head was buzzing with thoughts: Will everything go well? Will people show up? Will they actually chce\u0161<\/i> tattoos? Will the boys have enough to do?Do we have enough food? Booze? Or maybe…are we\u2026 boring?<\/p>

All of that vanished right after we opened the door: 11:15<\/strong>\u00a0and our tiny studio was absolutely packed<\/b><\/span>. About 15 random people in at once and the only stress that stuck with me was:<\/p>

\u201cHow the hell are we gonna fit everyone in here?\u201d<\/b><\/p>

What followed was a total blackout in my head -pure focus on the work, brief flashes of convos with friends, and next thing I know, it\u2019s almost midnight.<\/p>

I\u2019m sitting there with a beer in hand, watching Pavol calmly finish a piece on Adam.<\/p>

Side note \u2013 <\/span>Adam beat his personal record from our last flash day, and waited \u201conly\u201d 10 hours this time<\/b>. \ud83d\ude04<\/span><\/p>

Guys, you were absolutely unreal! Thanks a lot!<\/b><\/p>

If I had to sum it all up in one sentence, I\u2019d quote the legendary slogan from our merch:<\/p>

MAKE TRADITIONAL GREAT AGAIN.<\/b><\/p>

You\u2019re the reason this is all worth it \u2013 to keep creating, growing, and spreading the message of traditional tattooing.<\/p>

Simple rules: On the day of the event, come to the studio, pick from the available designs \u2013 and let\u2019s go. <\/b>First come, first serve!<\/p>

Also, Flash Day tattoos come at special prices<\/b><\/span>, so it\u2019s truly a win \u2013 a great deal, a great time, and a great way to build a solid community of tattoo lovers.<\/p>
